Only 4gb ram for A flagship mobile? It could have been a better idea, if gone for 6gb instead.

I'm a consumer, and if I don't like what's on offer, I'll buy something else. That's how it works. I don't care about how hard it is to stay on top. If you can't innovate year on year, you fall off.

This opinion is coming from a current Galaxy S8 user!

          1. I hated Bixby from the start and then when the incorporated it with the home press down button. (Annoyed)!

          2. I had high hopes of the S9 having even better screen to ratio! But it just looks the same..

          3. The camera is the same, with a few tweaks?? Erm, yes, I know pixels arent everything, but compare a 12 Megapixel to a 20 and erm, I think we all know who will win...

          4. It is still as fat and heavy... Come on, phones need to get thinner already.

Hmmm, not impressed Samsung, will defo be looking to other competitors for a phone!

Mobilemaster, 13 Jan 2018Yeah, the Dual camera is a great idea, but you get it on th... moreI get you there totally. I have small hands, also I have small pockets. With anything bigger than S8 I wouldn't be able to walk normally.
So yeah, I'll definitley skip the S9. I like compact phones better.

Few things I don't like about the Galaxy S8. In order of dislike most
              1) The curved edge screen.
              2) The Bixby and the unchangeable bixby button.
              3) The position of the fingerprint sensor near camera lens.
              4) The OLED display and its burn-in
              5) Expensive price.

i dont know about you .. but i tell you what i expect.. and i`m sure there are more people that see it as i see! first 1 camera is more then fine.. i take a picture and that`s it .. i dont expect some "super profesional picture" what is with this "slow motion " ? you really enjoy soo much filming how urr dog jumping and sharre it so everyone will khow how "proffesional ur video can be? " about ram ? .. never happen to me to say "ohh dammnn look my 4gb have such a problem i can`t do this thing the phone is not able to do it.. but if thee was 1 extra gb of arm definetly i was able to do it..! proccesor power? meh.. even snapdragon 821 doing a damn good job..! now if i expect someting from s9 will be the fingerprint underdisplay .. and eventualy bring back IR.. u guys talking abut " 3d face id" and others fingerprint is more secure ? more secure ? i have on bank card a pin with 4 numbers and i`m just fine with it .. more secure for who ? its your girlfrriend try to hack yourr phone soo badly ? sometimes the phone can unlock even if u dont want to unlcock.. that`s why i still think a fingerprint underdisplay remain the best option for unlocking ,, i still think dual camera is just not needed.. its like you put 2 laces on 1 shoe

My S8 has a good size, but its bigger brother is way too big to fit comfortably in my pocket.
A big battery is also a good idea. It seems Sony is learning this now.

The S9 is basically S8 that's faster, has better camera, stereo speakers, new fingerprint scanner location and a bit smaller bezel. But I hope they will add some interesting new features on S9 too. But, I will still skip the S9.

LIRKER, 13 Jan 2018Let him alone. He just thought that Sony just beat Samsung ... moreTrue. He is just embarrassing himself and Sony too.

I have an S8, I was eagerly waiting for S9 but camera is the least important thing I care about so without any new signature features, it'll be very difficult for me to choose one. Especially if the smaller version lacks in ram and cam

I must say stereo speakers, super-slow mo and variable aperture (f1.5 to f2.4) are some interesting additions that don't look very gimmicky. Hopefully the S9 and S9+ will also have larger batteries....

After the revolution (S6 and S8), comes the perfect evolution (S7 and S9).

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2018yea, 1000fps for 1 second video lol1 seconds if you stretch up until 1000fps, I don't know but maybe you'll get 20 seconds if you change it to 30fps. How much do you want? Stretch 2 minutes video and you need to watch for 40 minutes, do you?

[deleted post]Woah, I didn't mean to make anyone triggered. Hmmm.... I heard from some sources that upcoming Sony flagship would be using same Motion Eye camera which is IMX400. Just some new things particularly on hardware upgrades. I wish Sony fixed on their still images performance....
