The last browser apps that lunch Nokia really really sucks, in symbian 3 is really bad the browser experience , so bad that u have to download opera , to have a descent browser navigation , And well yes the SGII is absolutely And amazing device And the monster to beat this year

I think Nokia should stick with Symbian and develop it more. I just can't believe they run out of ideas. There are still a lot of loyal Symbian users out there and I think Nokia owes it to them to improve their product...before they too switch to Apple...like me. Sad...

I started to lose faith in Nokia. The company seems very indecisive recently, and they are very slow in releasing new updates. All good things come to an end eventually I guess.

it will be too late for Nokia to enter the Android craze. For them to succeed in the smartphone wars they should come up with an innovative platform either taking a different course with WP7 or reinventing itself and focus on Meego. I have seen the powers of Meego and if supported fully can bring back Nokia to its position as the number 1 phone brand. Here is my suggestion. Continue the S40 and S30 OS for the low and entry level market, and create Meego and WP7 as the standard OS for the smartphones. Well Nokia is known for making different phone design with the same OS. They can still live!
Ditch the Symbian completely, because its extinct and it stinks, even the Symbian Anna and the upcoming Symbian Belle wont help Symbian bring back its reputation as a proper smartphone OS. I'd rather go with TouchWiz of Samsung than Symbian.

Nokia Nokia Nokia. Come on.. your fans are waiting since years. Don't disappoint your fans. You have fans, funds, you have technology and more than everything you have competitors to learn from.
some people say, by 2014 no more nokia... prove it wrong...

If I will buy a Nokia phone, only if Elop is fired and Nokia abandons windows and comes back to symbian and meego, otherwise I prefer buy from apple or phone with android. Only in his dream this ceo will see me buy a nokia with windows.

I'm a phone dealer and I had lots of phones through my hands, including bunch of Nokias, SEs, HTCs, iPhones, Samsungs etc. I'm gonna write a loner post why Nokia fails all the time. I can conclude this: Nokias only fault is that they stopped with intensive development of Symbian 5 years ago, which was more than enough time for competition to catch up and go beyond. Based on my experience, I can say that Nokia is the best hardware maker of all, it's components are most reliable, their cellphones have the best network reception, wifi and gps reception. For example, my Nokia E71s (and other Nokias) wifi has wider range than any iPhone, HTC, or other brands phones (I verified it myself). To summarize it, Nokia is best hardware maker, but also a very bad software maker. Symbian had so much potential but they've let it go to waste. Here's what I mean about that potential: A lot of people don't know that Symbian still uses processing power and RAM memory more effectively than any other OS. Take my Nokia E71 vs HTC Desire for example, E71 has 369 mhz proc. vs 1ghz of Desire (Froyo), and Nokia can still play (by using coreplayer) VGA videos flawlessly, just as Desire, and VGA is Desire's top limit for playing, anything above that is a no-go. Do a comparison of E72 and Legend. They both have 600 mhz processor , but e72 can still play movies way better, so I guess it's not all about raw power. So, I would recommend to Nokia that they make some software innovations, which will hopefully be brought by WP7, and some custom user interface would be very appreciated too, because that's why Android succeeded in first place.

Good sound processor good output. There is reasons why iphone is expensive. It has perfect built quality, flawless OS and very i repeat very good resale value when you want to upgrade your device

Not because the iphone has more features or better capabilities, but because it has flashy UI animations and thousands of games and virtual gadgets to keep the average Joe with a short attention span occupied. However, there are other people for whom Symbian offers what Apple doesn't.

Since Nokia was able to create something innovative like the N9, it's best to give Nokia chance. It's just too bad so many hateboys around here that won't give it any chance to recuperate.
