      This is why Xiaomi should have made the beta program testing with a larger audience.
      Thankfully Nokia is doing beta labs with large set of users in different geographies.

        Zero issues on my Mi A1. Been using Android 8 for like almost 2 weeks since I got the update.
        Everything is super smooth, the phone actually just got so much better with this update, improved UI, Night Light and other minor improvements.
        I love it so much 🍉

          Aren't stock Android easy to update?

              S8 User, 12 Jan 2018Even Samsung has problems with Oreo, so I get it that Xiaom... moreSo here is the thing, on vanilla (pure as much as possible ) androids like google,motorola,android one projects, sony and so on, os updates really matters , but with miui, flyme , Grace UI , you only need security patches, couse if for example new version of android, brings new settings and some features , design, with custom UI u will not get it , only on stock androids, so on Mi A1 oreo is big deal, when on 5x (wich is same phone) oreo will not bring almost anything

                Even Samsung has problems with Oreo, so I get it that Xiaomi has issues too.
                I'm not Xiaomi fan by no means, but I know that updates matter greatley to some users.
                While other users like me don't really care. Just, it's maybe because I don't know a lot about it.

                    do mention music output issues on earphones,messed up becuase of addition of mi enhancer,just like they messed up from updating nougat from marshmallow on miui

                      i don't have any issues and even i think this is smoothest version my phone runs like pixels or ios just reset the phone after update
