This is the first time I see, that a Snapdragon 652 phone is doing 1080p@120 fps.
Is it this capable? I never knew.

Anyhow, good phone, not for me though, with the missing 3.5mm jack.

    AnonD-406268, 15 Jan 2018Sd652 in 2018 doesn't make sense. Time for Sd660660 will come end of 2018 or early 2019 in phones I mean... maybe... well not likely... Too expensive compared to 845...

        How many U11s are there? 11?

          Lets see if dual cam face unlock is more secure than single cam 5T or AI face unlock on View 10

                You have to understand how low-power the midrange chipsets that the XA Plus is using, just like any other Snapdragon 625/630.
                Although, 102hr is exceptional even in the mid-range region. Props to Sony for that.

                          3900mAh battery with SD835, just got a measly 80h Endurance Rating when it's expected to go at least 90h, given the XA1 Plus with just 3430mAh already can go up to 102h.

                            What's with all this U11 EYE and A8 nonsense? Are these guys even being serious with such hardware-price combo? Seems like these guys are trying too hard to be wannabe iPhone SE 2.0s while Google are failing badly by trying to be wannabe iPhones.

                                What the heck HTC? If you'd want to go bankrupt, you'd act no differently. Dang, people don't buy you because you look outdated, AND YOU ARE! SD660! 660! You look bland next to any comptetitor! And it's not a stupid gimmick that will help you!Get you act together like Sony (partially) did with their SD630 XA2 phones! If you die, that's on you and don't go blame the market or the customers . There are no reasons to go for your U11E instead of an A8 or whatever Xiaomi or Huawei has to release this year

                                  The chipset choice doesn't make any sense to me. SD652 may be more powerful than the more recent SD630, but most people always think that the more recent, the better, and almost all midrangers, up to now, use 630, so it would be just on par against other offers from different companies. Plus, 14nm chipset + almost 4000 mah battery would be a great combination.

                                    HTC was a dying brand before. By ditching the 3.5mm jack they instantly killed themselves.

                                    HTC = Suicidal company
