Hmm, SD 652 is more powerful than 625/630, but it's built on 28nm fab archtiecture. SD 652 was used in 2016 phones like the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). The SD 660 should have been used, considering that even the SD 670 is right around the corner.

Also, isn't it weird that the two-year old SD 652 can push 1080p@120fps, while many SD 835 flagships were capped at 1080p@60fps?

The large battery is nice, but the lack of the 3.5 mm jack is not....

Anonymous, 15 Jan 201828 nm SoC in 2018 when the phones should be already moving ... moreSnapdragon 652 performs quite well even by today's standards. The problem is that SoC support software is old and not Treble-compliant. This means HTC will launch a new device with Nougat and who knows when (or even if) will update it to Oreo. That's a shame.

28 nm SoC in 2018 when the phones should be already moving to 10 nm.

I understand the fact it does not have the 660, because they need to sell the U Ultra units remained.

But could have used the 626 for U11 Lyfe then the 630 for this one.
