Yes, they're not wrong.

With only the main camera, the tele one is left doing nothing, just as other Google Camera port for Mi 5s Plus or Mi Note 3.

You keep saying good job Xiaomi and stuff like that but we should have this update months ago and without bugs. Mi A1 is supposed to be an Android One phone.
The problem is Xiaomi is interfering with the code. This is not Stock Android. They said the only difference is the camera app, Google Camera does not support dual cameras. Yet you can see many ports for Google Camera on XDA forums that take amazing photos.
They are changing the code. And by the way, they don't even provide changelogs for the updates. I miss my sweet Nexus 5X...

Hard luck for you Xiaomi has all the bugs fixed, I just test my MiA1 & now it's 6-7 Screen on time, which is amazing, 1 charge last me 36 hours.
