New Oreo update for Xiaomi Mi A1 released

The bugs in the original update have been squashed and the Android security level was bumped up to January.

It's great to see that Xiaomi is taking actions on this issue fast. However, it seems like reports for bugs from users who already installed it still exist with this new update. I guess I'll be hanging on my Nougat (that is working great) until the next stable release.

    Have it now for almost two weeks and it works fine, but the battery is draining like it never did... the first couple of days it worked just fine, but for this last 3 to 4 days i'm having to charge it twice a day... they really have to fix this on the next update...

        And people cannot/do not receive it any longer. It was posted four days ago and only a few lucky people managed to update.

              Great effort from Xiaomi. Hope they continue to do so till the support period
