Honor 8 may not get Oreo update

Replying to a user-query on Twitter, the company's India said "Honor 8 is not compatible for Android Oreo update."

Samsung s7 is a 2016 flagship too, like Honor 8 but the s7 is getting the update. Not at the name too.

                                I don't understand the part where they said software is not capable. What a load of BS.
                                If it is truly not, then the software can be updated to be capable with oreo.

                                        Bought Honor 7 and Honor 8. There wont be a third.
                                        I discourage everyone to buy any product from a greedy company that only cares about stock share prices at the expense of customer satisfaction.
                                        Huawei/Honor promised 2 years of support and lied about it.
                                        Partnership with XDA is a pile of poo. No development whatsoever.
                                        Anyone who buys from them is financing a dishonest company and/or are suckers. I was and I'm out of that club. No more!
