Honor 8 may not get Oreo update

Replying to a user-query on Twitter, the company's India said "Honor 8 is not compatible for Android Oreo update."

      another 1 thing sac about android phone always launch with previous year software... like a8 & a8+ launch with nought ....then need to wait one year only get oreo then new software already out after that no more update... a8 2018 is not very cheap phone you know why do this? dont understand lollll... should be launch oreo n then next update with android P (papaya).

        Honor has no honor. Glad that I purchased Moto G5s Plus instead.

                My Moto G (1st generation) is running on android 8.1 Oreo.. i dont understand what is the hardware and software limitation.. thanks to custom ROM.. i will choose next mobile based on kernel source and bootloader unlocking support.

                      huawei .. its easy to talk and declare u will be number one in next few years but its difficult kid. You are hardly giving updates to phones which you promised when the phones were launched.
                      hahahahhaha .. number 1 spot is far far away for u ... just stay in Chi for now.
