Not another flagship I mean the xz1 isn't even a year old. As much as I love Sony for being ahead of others and actually innovate things, i don't like them for this 6 month upgrade circle.

and sony fa... moreWell , Sony possibly doesn't changed a lot on hardware . Because they're doing it phase-by-phase slightly new hardware which need time until it's perfect rather than instant new huge hardware , however a big mess at the end (some companies did that) . But they're the few companies that successfully keeping a necessary hardware without removing one of them . Such as : keeping a 3.5 mm headphone jack , while keeping IP68/65 water and dust resistant certificate and having a stereo speakers (doing that since Xperia Z2) . Others ? well , until S9/S9+ came out , no other OEM near what Sony has done
Here's some table :
Sony : features all
Samsung : lacks Stereo Speakers in flagships (S9 will changed the status same as Sony)
LG : same as Samsung
Apple : lacks 3.5mm jack while gaining IP67
HTC : same as Apple
Huawei : lacks of 3.5mm jack (Mate 10 Pro) or IP6x (Mate 10 , P10/Plus)
OnePlus : lacks both stereo speakers and IP6x
Motorola (since Moto Z) : lacks all
etc.
Well , i'm maybe biased . But i already researched those before in this website for those OEM and it's true .
