Will they include 3.5 mm headset jack this time though? It is much more convenient and worth the space it takes up.

And lot of tryies and mistakes must been done before we can expect a great combination of theses two.

AnonD-731363, 19 Jan 2018Razer 2 could be avesome if it could use Ryzen CPU in phone... moreRyzen (or any of the laptop CPUs) would not be a good fit for a phone, CptPower. Remember when Intel tried to shoehorn Atom on cellphone, all we got was the Atom x line, which barely managed to perform on the level of a Snapdragon 800 while consuming more electricity.

For a slightly less unrealistic wish, a Tegra X2 would be amazing, especially GPU-wise. But even a modified Tegra X1 (like the Nintendo Switch has) would be sufficient. Unfortunately, I bet we'll be stuck with a boring Snapdragon 845.

while ryzen would be amazing on something like this. Even the 15 w tdp chips are too power hungry fro a phone. Even if they binned super low power chips its not going to be less than 12 w whereas phone chips like the sd 835 are only around 3.5w. According to me a good solution could be to make use of windows 10 for arm chips. They could perhaps dual boot it onto the phone and it switched automatically when the device would be docked or they could boot it on a drive on the dock that the phone would use as a boot drive.

Razer 2 could be avesome if it could use Ryzen CPU in phone for example.
            And some other things.
For me Razer always will be ahead of any competition because for a decent price you get a quality beyound believe.

IP68 is just for lumsy people who care careless.
3,5 jack is another stupid feature if razer have a bluetooth headphones for sale.
120 HZ screen is best in any phone, same goes for huge speakers and battery,
No other company makes phone this good.
And for a camera this is a gaming phone.
Anyway if a system UI can fix camera problems then its nothing we could be tired off.

Still feels like the better option for a user is to just buy a Chromebook. (Or whatever your preferred machine of choice is)
                        Similar cost, separation of devices.
All your stuff is in the cloud anyway. It doesn't matter where it is physically stored anymore.

It's interesting that Razer is so involved with Kickstarter companies. NextBit was a Kickstarter, and Sentio is also a Kickstarter...

Nothing is best of both world.

Microshaft really needs to get off their ass and make Windows 10 on ARM available to these kinds of devices, similar to how the full-fledged Linux runs in DeX mode on the Note 8:

                              https://mspoweruser.com/samsung-shows-ubuntu-linux-running-on-the-samsung-galaxy-note-8/

Practical Pocket PCs are finally a reality and the longer Microshaft waits, the more irrelevant Windows will become...

casual gamers wonder why other gamers have so much salt in them is because of reading these kinds of news that tell them to take salt

Razer Phone is good smartphone. Nothing spectacular. Yes, on the paper but not in real life.
If Razer wants to stay in Smartphone industry, they really need to step up their game.
120hz display+4000 mAh battery was a total fail. No IP68, no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no catcy design was a fail too and don't even get me started about that camera lol.
Pros were UI which was close to stock android, loud dolby atmos speakers, 8/64 and SD 845, build quality (Nextbit Robin....You must be proud of your big brother :') ), fast charging capability.
