    Though stabilization is just above average so not perfect either. For that, I'm giving it a tie with the XZ Premium/XZ1/XZ1 Compact for 960fps Slow Motion in 720p and iPhone 8/8+/X for 60fps in 4K and 240fps in 1080p.

      the n8 still can compete :D

Samsung fans defend their slow updates that they already have the features on the next Android version, when in reality, not even 25% of them are used by the people who uses the phone.
          At least they could join the Android One project and make a Note 8 with stock Android. Would've been better.

          I would say Apple is still more overpriced because Samsung could offer way more and better for the price they're asking for. But both are still overpriced because they use their brand name and logo as a selling factor, as some other options from very reliable Chinese brands like Huawei could offer more or less the same at a much more budget-friendly price. Thanks Huawei!

            For example, the Split Screen multitasking.
            Google has far more apps that supports the feature than Samsung's own one.

            And don't get me started with such bugs on the software that is already 1 year old. Nougat with battery not charging issues, wtf??
            Even LG has already perfected their software and is now moving to Oreo, and don't tell me they don't have as much features as Samsung; most of their features are about the same as Samsung's yet they work much better at times.
            And those features you're being proud of with Samsung? Not even 20% of them are used by those people who are using their devices.
            If I want a feature now, I'd wait for Google to implement it as it always works so much better on stock than skinned version

              Btw the Galaxy a8+ is a very bad deal but has a better camera,better screen and more ram for the same price.Nokia 8 losing to a phone which is considered bad means the Nokia 8 is shit.

                  Now days, all phone are only meant to be trend to see which is hot or not. And for last year, even the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8/Note 8, Razer or OnePlus 5 and Google pixel 2 XL wasn't the best phone if 2017, Nokia 6 (2017) is the most fan favorite, durable(jerryrigeverything) and the most popular phone of 2017!!! [Despite of it's terrible camera and processor]



                  You all haters, I repeat you all haters crap gimmick, better think properly before saying bullshits to Nokia. ( Not to me ah, don't even try to mess up with me!!!!)

                        Samsung WAS the slowest to update. but it got better.
                        base device of apple is 650-700$, many samsung flagships are AROUND 720$ (true to launch time only) at base. (not to mention Note if you're really onto the big guns. 900~$)
                        most compact is the SE. but the best compact. I have to agree.

                            [I did have an experiment with my friend's XZP. (I own the note 8 btw) and amazing. it's crazy! it does record an immense length (And superb quality too!) of 4k video!]
                            The reason I am not using Sony device. is because of the awkward navbar. and I'm too lazy finding a mod for that.
