BigLittle was so terrible that Apple copied it for their latest processors. I guess you need to go do some more reading.

Try to use the 115MBps sd cards, and you will see a huge difference. 95MBps is ok, but still not flawless. The USB is just 1 option, wifi direct is another. But yeah, I do hear that you have no experience without sd card, what so ever. Bet you got a hard on when your beloved Sammy brought back the sd cards. Go follow your flock of mindless sheeps. Please try options out, before you sell your heart to Google searches.

Not to mention cloud storage means the operator can see what you stored and phones charge significantly more once you start getting the higher storage option ones.

This has to be the most flawed statement I've seen in this week. There are already cheap and decent SD cards that can record 4K video without hassle, Samsung Evo Plus as an example.

Did you know that you can connect your phone to your computer with the usb cable? 3 simple things right there that you can use without SD. Most new phones today have ufs 2.1, so you actually need to buy the expensive SD cards to have everything working smoothly. The cheaper ones will give you lag and harder to record smooth 4k videos. Even apps and games gets slow by being on those SD cards. So yes, sd cards are overrated and a worthless gimmick. But I guess it's good for people who can't think outside of the box and realize we live in 2018.

Razer have 4000 mAh battery copared to for example S8 the battery is much bigger. We cant even compare it with apple cuz their stackable batteries to save thicknes is as bad idea as jack ever was.
And MIL-STD is higher than IP68. Also we have an IP69K rating which is highest possible but in opresent era no phone have this. Not even Sonim XP7 which is most rugged smartphone up to the date.

This "phone" (It's much more than *just* a 'phone) will be about the cheapest bit of stand-alone kit that Red have ever produced.
Really suggest people check out the source link, and the Red site before commenting.

And remember, there aren't a rating higher than IP68, and I see no point why you would dip your phone in water for almost one and a half hour.
Headphone Jack may be old, but it's a matured tech and has great compatibility. Relevant features should not be removed. More features is always better.

And if they do more than little modification then it will take years. Apple and snap dragons are they only heavily modified arm cpus the rest don't even bother. And snap dragons haven't been much of a good modification ever since the big little architect came out. Still they have the best package for everyone to use.

If faced with a choice between no jack and an extra mm of phone thickness I'll have the extra mm every time. But then I have a number of headsets and patch leads, and I don't want a dongle for some one piece of equipment. I suspect the long term plan is to get rid of wired phones so people cannot record anything.

And the 3D content will rise again... Thanks, RED. Thanks to thinking in more juice, thanks to thinking 3D, thanks to allows 2 SIMs (eg. professional and personal), thanks to the headphone jack. What I also would like to see: IP/MIL certification (a hard to break phone like Nokia 3310), a 360-camera module (with auto stabilization), stereo mic (or an alternative to Sennheiser Amber Headset).
