The app lacks GIF search and stickers but uses 40% less RAM.

ithehappy, 23 Jan 2018I don't see the point of the app!you dont see the point of it is probably because you have upwards of 4gb ram right now this is for people who's yearly salary is the price of your current smartphone for who buying a 50 usd phone is as huge as buying a house for the rest

It's kinda a bummer since Android 8.1 devices are currently very small in numbers, and mostly the ones who have Android 8.1 aboard are top-tier devices such as Pixels and flagships which obviously don't need "go" version apps. Well I hope the Go apps will be soon made available for older droid versions, even for those with as low as Android 4.2.

I using Gboard for a long time and don't use stickers, gifs, search and other unnecessary staff. I'd like to use Gboard Go too, but it's fot Oreo only. WTF, Google?

Who cares about gif and stickers if it's barely uses RAM? Good job

I love how the say --for emergent markets-- but at the same time it is only available for 8.1 android devices which must be 350 bucks and above *except the mi a1 and sme others**

I don't see the point of the app!

I prefer TouchPal over GBoard. I think TouchPal is easy and simple with lot of setting.. GBoard Go might light little bit, but let's see..
