      I left LG completely after they failed to care and update my phone LG F6 LTE D505 to KitKat version. I was stuck with the Jellybean version. My NFC specs became a white elephant. I gave up on LG since then.

        LG = Low Grade.

          Recently the Nexus 5X has major bootloop problems. Guess they needed 4 years to rectify it? i don't trust LG, LG no more.
          They are beautiful phones but internally the build quality is null.
          Even if the LG G6 is an awesome phone let's wait 2 years and see if that one suffers from bootloop problems too...

              AnonD-580901, 25 Jan 2018LG v30 is better than lagsung galaxy S8 yet advertisement b... moreNope. Plus improper comparison. V30 goes against note8 and note8 is objevtively ahead

                Lg's smartphones have been lackluster for the longest time. A stark contrast to their amazing line of tv's. Their flagship g6 is underwhelming and even their v30 is nothing much of an accomplishment outside the audiophile niche. So it's not a surprise they are operating at a loss quarter after quarter. Even if their latest offerings become super cheap, never will i consider them in the slightest.

                    What a surprise! They managed to release a "flagship" that is equal or worse to its predecessor in almost everything. It is as if a drunken monkey takes decisions in that department.

                    On the other end they have their excellent OLED line on TVs that to this day are the kings of image quality (or just about). So there's obviously talent in that company, merely not in the mobile department...

                      IPS panels have retention (ghosting) issues
                      POLED panels have checkered pattern and blue hue
                      G4 V10 overheats and bootloops
                      G5's base doesn't close properly
                      G6's glass lens cover cracks by itself

                      LG CS in HK has to line up for 4 hours just to talk to someone..
                      So no, I will never buy LG again

                        Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018I have posted here before: If LG wants to succeed, it needs... moreI agree. It was stupid for LG to remove the ir blaster, make the second sim slot hybrid (it used to be dedicated in the V20) and shift to sealed batteries in the latest LG flagships when that was what essentially made them different from all the rest. They threw away the only features that set them apart from the rest. They should go back to the feature set of the V20 and make improvements from there without removing any unique, LG defining features (dedicated sd slot, removable battery, ir blaster, FM radio, second screen, slimport support, 16:9 flat screen, burn in resistant ips displays).

                                    Their TVs sell due to OLED. If only they realized that's what could help their flagship phones sell too.. Frankly, I'm sure most people saw the S6 and the S7 next to each other, and even without knowing that the specs on the G6 aren't as good, they saw the screens and decided the G6 is a worse phone based solely on that.
