Nokia for me are working on another down fall just look at a phone like Nokia 6 when you update you loss recording app I think I now see why infinix, Techno are making it in the open market.

After oreo stable update on Nokia 6, Dolby atmos sound quality is very bad with strange hissing noise coming through ear phones.I hope Nokia will fix this and also give us a graphic equalizer for dolby atmos. Battery backup is reduced compared to nougat

Why do they take that long ... moreGiven all the steps necessary to release this update and knowing that it does not update more than two devices at a time, until it is fast considering the pace of an OEM.
Faster only if it were their own Google who made this delivery.
But then the procedures for developing updates would have to change.

I upgraded Nokia 6 to Oreo yesterday in India. No issues found. There is enhanced performance. Only problem noticed is that there's more radiation. Use for more minutes make my ear hot

For those who didn't get oreo update on Nokia 6, Please connect your phone with wifi and then try to find new update, Because Nokia 6 Oreo update will only be downloadable on wifi.

I have updated Oreo today for my Nokia 6 (India). After the update, Enhanced LTE option disappeard. I am not able to make a call from my JIO network because JIO supports VoLte calls. It was working fine till update oreo. Really strange issue.

I updated today through phone network. Was apprehensive of slow down considering low processor and 3gb ram. On update no slow down felt. Oreo is more convenient

Orero is not as stable as 7. So, Nokia most probably tries to also reduce the bugs in the system it self. 8.1 will nail down some os codes but we will see.

Guys if you have TA-1021 and you didn't received any update of official oreo yet then try this it really works i tried it
Go to Settings–>Apps & Notifications–>Device–>Apps (if you are on Nougat)
Go to Settings–>Apps & Notifications–>Apps & Notifications–>App info (if you are on Oreo Beta)
Now go to the right corner and tap on three dots and tap on show system. Go to the Google Service framework app–>tap on storage–>Clear cache and data.
Now, check for update and you should be able to get the stable Oreo update. This works only when the Oreo update is available for your market and HMD has already announced it to be a phased update. So, a bit of patience may also help.

AnonD-302023, 29 Jan 2018Not available for TA-1021.As with any responsible manufacturer, they're likely doing a staggered update release. In other words, not every phone around the world gets the update at the same time, in case there turns out to be some critical issue with the update that they didn't find during beta testing.
