Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018If Xiaomi is going to put resources into updating its older... moreWell let's hope that the reason for this is limitations of and old Android system that Xiaomi is unable to make work with latest secutity patch, while the new Android is limited by the hardware.
Anyway blaming Xiaomi for niglecting security over UI for a 2013 budget phone is very stupid, even if they do it on purpose.

If Xiaomi is really concerned about updating there older devices, doesn't latest security patches sound more important than software gimmicks which would basically freeze the device with outdated hardware? October 2016? Jeez.

If Xiaomi is going to put resources into updating its older hardware, it should concentrate on security patches, not on UI and feature updates layered upon insecure systems.
