In my opinion and experience with featurephones, the Nokia 3310 3G had a number of deficiencies with the predictive text input.
If these were fixed in the new OS, I think it would make it a much better phone.
Also being able to see the time when you're in a menu/application would be a big improvement too.

Still use an aging 3G phone and bluetooth to offer various devices data connectivity while out and about.
Would not mind something like this, perhaps in a more rugged design, as a upgrade.

i dont thin... moreYes but motorola its still outstanding having X4 and can confirm its a best phone i ever had along with Vibeshot from lenovo at time of 2015 when i bought it as a brand new phone it did everything and it still does.
Motorola sells on its own its acompany which doesnt needs any advertising.
Instead of Samsung or Sony where TV is full of crap every 20-30 minutes promoting new devices from Samsung Sony or Apple. Thus its the price.

Zenodroid, 30 Jan 2018Call recording is illegal in a lot of countries. So forget ... moreAnd, in many countries, call recording is lawful when done by one of the caller. In some countries or states, one-party recording is permitted and legal. In other countries or states requires that both parties should agree or be notified. For example, in Canada, Sweden, Korea and Washington DC, New York of USA, one of the calling party can record phone conversation legally without consent or notice of the other party.

And how long can it that? Are we going away from the feature where the battery lasted 2-3 times longer than the original 3310?

Yun OS revolves around the idea of bringing cloud functionality to mobile devices. According to the company, Yun OS will feature cloud-based e-mail, Web search, weather updates, and GPS navigation tools. In addition, the Aliyun services will synchronize and store call data, text messages, and photos in the cloud for access across other devices, including personal computers. Alibaba says it will offer customers 100 GB of storage at launch. Yun OS would allow users to access applications from the Web, rather than download apps to their devices.

It may be off-topic, but I always wonder why Nokia chose to make Windows Phone, instead of Android phone in 2011. Samsung Galaxy S2 was release in 2011. So Nokia had ample chance and opportunity to succeed in smartphone market at 2011 time frame, if they chose Android. Maybe Nokia deserved second place in Android market after Samsung Galaxy. Choosing Windows Phone, instead of Android was fatal mistake for Nokia. I sometimes dream an alternate future, that Nokia had chosen android.

So I fear that it may not support such app. I suggest that Nokia shall include such call recording app as standard bundled app and feature of this feature-phone-like phone.

That's what HMD should offer with every nokia feature phone. Its 10× better than that poor 3310(2017) 2G variant. I used their 215 phone as my daily driver for a while. The experience was ridiculous because of poor speed of 2G,lack of stroage. Now it's much better than before
