Update will be Rolling out tomorrow for UK and Germany, maybe another European countries but I cannot confirm.

In november last year from years using HTC i flip to S8 ,the phone is ok but i am behind with the updates and i am sorry for that.

I not excited about oreo update, most of android function samsung already have it before 6.0, as long as can get it, never mind for me if samsung delay

I don't know why are the people so much mad about update. After update to a new version of android now what extra will they get? Android has already too much feature. New version will not bring anything impressive. Now i only want a stable smooth android. Nougat or Oreo doesn't matter. ( Using HTC 10 as i don't have the money for S8. Target is S10 :)

I have been kept on telling this that samsung will Oreo update after the launch of S9. so now worry S8and Note 8 fans. we are being cheated with sugar quoted words from Samsung.

Samsung really sucks in term of software update process almost all the phones has been updated to oreo 8.0 earlier on 2017 except samsung devices who's beta test yet to finished on galaxy s8 amd s8 plus respectively so what about s7 and s7 edge?

samsung is incompetent of making good software. however they copied apple style beta rollout they failed - they gave few week back the final beta - now waiting for next phone to release. this shows they not only ugly at software but they also are incompetent in marketing.
Probably samsung did not understand the point of beta software - blindly copied (acceptable for such pathetic company).
May be some samsung fans(irritating) will shout they make 7 better than 8 -- so they can - they are so blind.
Some hint -
Samsung use android because they are not capable of making their own (they tried & failed) but dont follow android guideline.
they made notes and reminder apps because iphone has those.
they choose all white - because ios is like that.
their app drawer is blur - well you know why.
they come up with duplicate apps - god know who the hell took that decision if they are paralysed in software devision.
they make their own my galaxy - good for nothing.
their galaxy apps - another horrible app.
their phone app got contact tab - because ios has that.
they did not even bother to include adaptive icon - instead they made it circular round - because ios is like that.
-- now when samsung tried to ditch to google what happens
- with incompetent software they made bixby - they failed / i know ever got bixby they disabled or trying to remap the button.
- they tried to copy google now - with lot of non sensing and we don't use that.
- since there is a play store - use try to uninstall their galaxy apps
recently i moved from ios to note 8 - performance wise, experience wise utterly disappointed. wrote several mails to samsung to refund my money but they are denying.

Sense's by HTC and Xperia UI is always the best and fastest in Android.. For 8.0 Oreo updates, Samsung is the slowest at the same rank as few chinese manufacturer to provide it, which is just embarassing..

Samsung already had planned to launch Oreo with their new phone S9 and S9+, S8 users have been used as lab rats for testing Oreo.
I have a note8 and im disgusted by your software update delays.

Samsung really don't do updates in a timely manner. Let's face it, the A8+ that is only just released ships with Nougart and no confirmed upgrade date. By comparison the Huawei Mate 10 shipped with Oreo well before XMAS.
