Samsung Galaxy S8 Oreo update may not arrive until February end in some markets

S9 is on the way.. they will launch it with Oreo. So s8 is predecessor of s9. People won't buy s9 as there is no much specs change.. so late in OS upgrade is understandable.

Shadocx, 05 Feb 2018Pretty sure S6 and S7 series had Nougat before the S8 serie... moreThey would have done the same with S7 but due to recalling of the Note 7, they pushed the update earlier to the S7 showing they care. Well they can do it, but they won't.

Samsung has good UI, and Samsung version of Android is much better than stock Android.
But still, this time they are really really late. They are awesome company, and it's a shame, because this is bad for their image.
I don't care much about updates, but I won't and can't defend Samsung anymore on this department. They are late, and any further delays are just making it worse.

I am loosing interest in Samsung now because of their delay in software updates. I guess one plus is doing good job in keeping their updates on time and keeping their user base.

Most irritating companfor software update ...i also feel lags in my note 8 sometime . They shoukd not make premium phone. They dont understand what makes aphone premium. Not only price and some hardware does not make a great phone. I made a great mistake by investing money on samaung - i shoukd have went for pixel or iphone.
Samsung copied beta software rollout for new os like ios .. but dont know what ks developer beta or public beta. No one works on samaung's os(lol) - developes works on android. These idiot behaves like they make os. Idiots ..

Great news for S8/S8+ users... We can be sure now that Samsung indeed would give Oreo to us!
