SZTadir, 06 Feb 2018I hope that people don't take it in a wrong way, but I real... moreDon't worry, you're not alone.. Chinese companies can make good phone with good hardware, but then at software they intend to mimic what Iphone can do.. I don't hate it, but some are very annoying... No app drawer, design almost copy Iphone, etc... Chinese companies can stand on their own now without copying..

These stats don't include LG models, which could be part of the reason why LG is leaving the Chinese handset marketplace: they aren't selling well there. No I am not here to put down LG.

I hope that people don't take it in a wrong way, but I really dislike this Chinese tendency to copy successful American products. It's like they are infatuated with them. Almost every Chinese OEM uses an android interface that mimics iOS which is intolerable. Only reason I have not purchased any phone from Chinese OEM, no matter how good they are.

They are capable of building unique phones, but at the end of the day, they go back to copying Apple.

I think Samsung should pull back from China like what LG did. It does make more sense because for some reason Chinese are obsessed with Apple's UI. Each one of major Chinese OEMs have some kind of UI elements that are lookalike of iOS.

Seems that this year will be a karma for Apple and Samsung in China. The "Legend" China brand, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and OnePlus are rising.
