We cannot judge the phone because of some development version of the SW with lag, a lot of another brands have shown phones with lags with their unfinished SW.

I used to be a Symbian/Nokia fan but seeing it lagging despite the 1Ghz processor on board forces me to switch to other manufacturers. Maybe HTC or Sony Ericsson. Sigh. I miss the good-old Nokia. :(

Nokia will go down down down until WP7 is released and still that's not 100% guarantee that it'll succeed. All these new Symbian phones are just desperate measures taken by Nokia to "do something"

Nokia thinks you are all fools and will buy the phone cause it's simply says "1GHz" in the specifications.
The 1GHz is ARM11, a four year old CPU design.
Still 256MB RAM
No GPU!!!
Nokia is polluting the world with their garbage, they should update their existing phones and support them instead of forgetting about them and just releasing new ones constantly...
This type of thinking and business plan is why Nokia is doomed, things don't work like that anymore Nokia.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2011Why in the hell would I want to heat up my CPU and waste th... moreI often watch full-lenght flash-movies streamed from Internet on my 4 inch single-core year old Galaxy S without overheating my CPU... and battery lasting more than 2 movies... when I am travelling by train, and because I hold the 4 inch screen much closer to my eyes it is almost the same as watch a big screen TV on the other side of my living-room, and being able to watch any flash-video in the browser is definetly needed by many users! I use my year old single-core Galaxy S for exactly the same as I would use a laptop-computer.
Android can do a lot more than Symbian, and not even a 1GHz CPU can make Symbian fast or good! Carl-Zeiss make good cameras for Nokia, but that is the only thing that is good on any Nokia-phone!

It has got no proper GPU-->will be slower than C6-01/C7/N8. simply look at video recording capabilities. That is so low end in fact.

The stuttering is due to the crappy JAVA facebook app. I use Gravity (wriitten in QT) for social networking and it's silky smooth.
Considering it will be half the price of the HTC chacha, why are you clowns comparing the smoothness to a high end android device or an iphone? Put the 2 against each other and see which one offers better value for money.
P.S I've used 1Hhz android devices like the Desire S and they stutter all over the place
