somehow nokia makes me feel as if they make phones at barely the minimum specs needed.and then they put in some bugs so we are always looking forward to new releases.
few years back, that would have been a good marketing strategy, but now, they should realize consumers have a lot more choices around.
and the whole anna thing, its taking forever to release it on the existing s^3 devices.maybe they will surprise us and release Belle instead..who knows..maybe we'll get lucky

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2011The processor they use on this phone doesn't have it!Anything above 512 MB is overkill for Symbian. Thus, 384 MB is the sweet spot and 256 as the bare minimum.

nokia's 1ghz arm 11 processor=600mhz speed of android devices...may nokia took a contract with chineese mobiles..this is the only way to survive (providing least price)

This is the best bang for your buck low end phone. Your getting a 1ghz processor and 5mp camera for that price is.fantastic. And I tell you a symbian low end phone is much better than a low android phone. Hardware on low end androids are not powerful enough to run the os smoothly and renders all the graphics poorly. The end result is an utter peice of junk

if only that processor goes inside the n8, no matter how awesome all other phones are, id still buy the 1Ghz n8..
pity pity..nokia has all the great ideas and resources but they forgot how to use them..if they were as innovational and inspirational as they were a few years back, we wont need to eat all the apples, the gingerbreads and the ice cream sandwiches..
we all know too much desert is bad for health, even too much apples isnt a good thing either. :-)

AnonD-123, 03 Aug 2011I think that people who are serious about finding out about... moreI don't your points really cut it. Nokia DO make good phones. Try X7 and E6, it's far from a dissapointment. Not to mention, fanboys aren't the only factor in what's suppressing Nokia. Being unpopular in the US, which is the most powerful media network in the world, is what bottlenecking Nokia's true potential, and there are more factors other than that.
