HTC free fall continues in January, revenue hits six-month low

    Well HTC was good at one thing - audio, and that's exactly what they insisted on ditching. So i guess they want to collapse, i can't see any other explanation.

      Its a shame for HTC I mean I have a desire 650 and its just fine, I have always liked HTC for there different looking handsets.

          HTC should focus on competing with midrange brands.

            I'm always sad to hear about HTCs failure to turn a profit. I just picked up a used HTC 10 and I LOVE it. I specifically picked it up because of the Zoe Camera. If the U11 had the Zoe Camera then I'd have bought it, but it doesn't so I had to turn to their prior flagship.

It's just that sony learned the marketing tricks of the modern day and age while htc went the opposite direction. Although both are irrelevant and aren't even in the top 10 smartphone vendors of recent years.

                HTC should just bring the prices down, i see HTC as an inferior brand than other flagships.
                HTC should stop "innovating" (squeeze feature, nice colour, and nice features overall) but people rather pay 100/200 dollars more for the same features but for another better known brand (Huawei, Sony)
                HTC should go with the android one program, do simple and reasonable priced flagships, much like oneplus.
                People don't like oneplus as a company but they can't deny they do excellent premium phones, even tho it lacks good features like sd card, stereo speakers, any IP rating, or fancy features. Oneplus as a whole are amazing devices that simply works.

                  No front speakers, no stereo, no jack..

                  Ask any htc fan if they dont miss these stuff..

                    HTC might fall In their business, but I always admire and pick their device as my daily driver.. For me, HTC flagship are phenomenal and very good to use for long time.. Right now I stick with HTC U11, before this with HTC 10. Personally, I like and enjoyed HTC smartphone. Stunning build quality, SENSE UI is wonderful and fluid, amazing camera and superb Boomsound speaker.. Again, this is my personal review and what matter happened, HTC is always in my wishlist..

                      When I see HTC I think of cheap Chinese phones nowadays. The ship has sailed many moons ago HTC. RIP
