I got my n8 in november 2010 and i've been waiting for the anna update until today, pls don't start with me anything about bella... cos i'm hopeless with all kinda fire and smoke venting out at the back of my head, i came all the way from 6682, 7610, n73, n81, n82, n85, n95, n958gb, n97mini, n8... i think i've gave nokia too many chances, and that's it!!! i don't care how that trojian horse gonna mess arround.

I've always been a fan of the way S60/Sym^3 work, the UI and the feature-rich offering. However it took 'till Sym^3 Anna for Nokia to wake up and realise that a smooth and responsive UI is central to the user experience.
Furthermore, Nokia announces something - a handset, an OS, an update - and then delivers it after 6 months or more; then it drops something like the Nokia 500 on us with zero warning. Sym^3 is supposed to be supported for another couple years, then Nokia outsources it to Accenture. iOS, Android and even WP7 updates come out faster. How the hell can I know what to expect from you, Nokia?
Nokia has one last chance to impress me. Their WP7.5 handset will have some stiff competition, but I'll give it serious consideration.

Rip-off or not, you android trolls can't handle a bit of healthy competition.
And to the moron talking about updates, at least we get them. When was the last time google added a new feature to its OS - 12 months ago with the release of 2.2 ???? 8 months since gingerbread and absolutely no sign of when ice cream sandwich will hit your crappy phones.

You guys saw the pull down notifications ripped off from Android at 1: 27?
It looks like Nokia is now trying to make Symbian look like Android in desperation. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. And you guys thought iOS ripped Android's notification was bad. Belle is more of a direct rip off. XD

Oh yea, get ready guys, it's coming soon, I know this straight from someone from Nokia, you just need to way a tiny bit longer, not much is left now, wait a bit more, just a few more years and you'll the Anna update, then a few short decades and you'll get Belle.
So pay a close attention.

Well, Nokia just dropped down OVI Calendar. I really think that, if you can't provide something as basic as decent calendar synchronization, you shouldn't be playing with big stuff like UI. First things first.

While I don't really prefer the almost-Android approach of the homescreen, I believe the performance optimisation is definitely more than what I can bargain for.
