Flat and 16:9 aspect ratio is great.
My s8 plus is in complete rest.
Now using xiaomi mi max 2....6.44 inch flat 16:9 asr

I have an S8 Active and love it -- and I'm not "active". Flat screen, slightly more bezels, but doesn't break on the first drop so it doesn't require a case and it has a bigger battery. I might have held off for an S9 if I thought the Active version wouldn't take an extra 6 months.

I have stopped trusting GSMA StB ratios....
In this article the S8+'s has 87.5%, while in the specs page it is shown as 84%.....
How can one believe a self-contradicting website?!

I live in Germany and there is no way I could get an Active model here, I would have definitely bought one if I could.

Thin bezels are good, but they should stop with this "edge screen" nonsense. It doesn't make any sense, there is hardly any curve to make a difference in usability, but the curve is enough that we cannot use a screen protector properly. Be done with this stupid "edge screen" Samsung and make it foldable or just plain flat. I miss the flat versions of the flagships from before S8.

I don't care about design anymore. I've used Sony Z3 - Samsung S6 Edge - HTC One M9 - iPhone 7 - many others. Performance is more important for me.
