I think it's an Xperia Device, because sony devices are already getting 8.0 Update and sony is talking that a new device with the Snapdragon 845 is coming really soon (and it was already disovered by the person who took the screenshot of the Message sent by a Retailer (or ...) saying that the new Xperia XZ2 is coming soon)

CPU performance has *nothing* to do with underlying OS (unless there are pretty bugs , as in background daemons running all the time) or potential drivers. A cpu is a cpu as evidenced by the countless real uses where Apple *also* banished Qualcomm (video/photo editing, etc).
Qualcomm is dropping the ball majorly. I mean 20% increase in sigle core in 2 years ?!
They are taking the android world down, I think companies should find alternatives. I guess they are good at modems , but most of always s*cked at making CPUs (even back in the day they were slower by those actually competing i.e. SD805 vs Exynos 5433).
Androids are less capable every year compared to Apple ... unless Qualcomm is dropped in a few years time Androids would seem a couple generation below iPhones in performance...

This should be the Mi Mix 2S coz recently it has crossed Antutu and above it can be Galaxy S9 as the OS shows Oreo which is still to be fully developed by Xiaomi while Samsung has started rolling out it to S8 & S7.
It could be more likely 2S bcoz Xiaomi is currently testing many of its devices on Geekbench 4 with no names.
Lets see what it turns out to be.

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2018While its true that all those things will matter for sure (... moreGeekbench is more about raw power, rather than real life workload. It tests the CPU in no way that you will replicate it in day to day usage, at least for smartphone.
Apple uses more cache, more ALUs, and wider pipeline for bandwidth. It's expensive to do so, and will make the die area exponentially grow. In turn, it'll need higher voltage and power, making battery life less impressive and age fast, if you mainly use it for gaming or 4k playback.
Geekbench isn't a good comparison tool for different OS. Even then, it is also not good for different platform. I don't understand why in smartphone segment many people still use it. As no one in PC segment ever use it at all when comparing AMD against Intel.

Different OS use different compiler, which in turn a bottleneck are bound to happen due to less optimization. There's a reason why in Professional desktop segment no one gives a shit about Geekbench, and that is because it hardly make a good comparison.

I guess the exynos 9810 benched better on Geekbench 4.2
it scored like 2680 single core @1.5 Ghz and 7787 on multi core...

the scores are near to Sony H8266 scores... so i assume it's a Sony device... Maybe XZ Pro, or XZ2

I know GB is somewhat RAM dependent and workload dependent. While I'm happy to see changes, I'm wondering to what end? Unless these OEMS will start developing more docks to make them proper laptop replacements which a lot of phones seem to be going for. Otherwise, if it can make calls, texts, a few social media apps, youtube...I'll be fine.
