    For a really good price this phone will be marvelous.

      > officially, they are only available in China at the moment

      But there already are global version of them, with english docs and EU wall plug.

        I think redmi 5 plus will be named redmi note 5 in India and cost nearly same as redmi note 4 and there will be another redmi note 5 pro which will be prized around 15k.

            Will be really lame if its the Redmi phones launched in China. Hopefully the Snapdragon 636 rumor is true. If its a Snapdragon 625 again, I will give up.

                I believed there is no Redmi Note 5 yet, it's just redmi 5 & 5 plus.
                India & indonesia have same date to released and there is genuine leaked from Indonesia and it's just Redmi 5 & Redmi 5 Plus.

                I think Redmi note 5 announced at MWC

                  then there will be Redmi note 5 Pro... with SD636 and dual cams...

                      This is pure rumour as the writer keep saying every possibility, In fact Xiaomi has not even send the so called Redmi Note 5 pro or whatever the name to China patent right & device safety testing board in China (mind you this is a must for every new device to be sold in the market).

                      India is getting Redmi 5 & Redmi 5 plus next week as Malaysia already has it last week, normally Malaysia & India launch is about 1,2 week apart.
