actually, the average consumer finds stock android with nothing on it to be troublesome - at least it isn't troublesome for THEM but for those around them who they keep pestering and nagging to find out why something isn't working compared to ready-to-use phones by OEM fellows.
also shows the level of hero-worship by those savants on twitter

This almost makes me not want to ever buy a Xiaomi product, MIUI sucks so I'm not surprised by the results.

stock android is the worst for a lay user - but deleting that was even more stupid than creating that poll in the first place. hardcore fanboi's (especially those lame virtue signallers on social media) tend to gravitate to bland stock android illogically citing nova, bova, blah blah blah when 95% users prefer (and need) a device that is easier to use from the get-go.

In my opinion... if Xiaomi aggressively become international oriented brand, it will a different results. Mostly about language barriers.
Honestly, see details MIUI, many new or upgraded features that helping. And seems like Xiaomi have a different focus of market.
But... if that happened, the price won't like now...
Is this your option, is this your budget?
By the way, what about the percentage of China citizens correspondent and outsider... Thx

Haha that's so embarrassing. I'm sure Xiaomi CDO cried like a little kid and just ran out of his office and continued crying until they did remove the poll from their Twitter account and bought him a lollipop. It's really embarrassing

MIUI isn't that bad but what makes "bad" is that all the Chinese OEMs are using it, which is wrong, because, it's a home UI, not the OS

The issue with Apple is that, it doesn't give launchers nor themes and everyone keeps buying it as if they don't get bored from looking at the same display over and over :(
