    Raky, 12 Feb 2018You wouldn't believe how much brain washing is there around... moreYes. Miui forums are the worst of any phone forums. Their mods dont know proper english, and will delete posts that contain harsh criticism of miui - citing reason as 'irrelevance'.

          It's a perfect example of how companies don't care what we want. Removing of 3.5mm jack, 18:9 aspect ratio, the list is long. They are dictating what we are supposed to like. That's why i boycott them as much as i can, buying cheap phones and buying rarely.

People complain they have MIUI updates, but Android stays on the same version. Most of the people do not realize MIUI is not a launcher, it is OS. And a phone with Android 5 and Android 8 running MIUI 9 does exactly same things except split screen (which for me is a doubtful feature). Even phones with Android 5 can run youtube videos in Picture in Picture mode.
            Such people are voting they would prefer Android ONE.

              Just updated my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI 9, but it is still running on Marshmallow. What's the point of having MIUI 9 when the underlying OS is still the dated version?

                Xiaomi definitely not amused.

                  I use samsung s7 now but sony, xiaomi & nexus 4 in the past. Frankly, miui is the worst android. Sony's software is the best.

                    I have been using redmi note 3 pro since it launched. My phone never froze, it is getting better and better. Battery is still great, no downgrading. It's user friendly, fast and easy, rich in options. Still rocks.

                      I've got a Xiaomi mi 6, and MIUI is a very heavy ROM, filled with stuff you'll never use... I've disabled most of them through ADB... But the worst of MIUI is that it comes with a system app called "msa", which the full package name was called com.miui.systemAdsolution (plus it's always running, along with a load of other... "Apps")

                      You could already know its purpose by the name, and I disabled it the first chance I got... Now I'm using miui beta ROM, updated to Oreo, and now msa's package name is com.miui.msa.global

                      Guessing people found out. I'm going to wait until a good custom ROM is out on XDA so I can use my phone to its fullest potential

                                Let the chinese have what they like

                                  MIUI is fast and fluid;

                                  MIUI in china with Chinese(Original) ROM is fast and fluid, because developers in Xiaomi as serious for their domestic market.

                                  MIUI outside with English(Global) ROM is neglected thanks to lack of proper time to develop same as Original one.

                                  Twitter is not popular among Chinese people who use the domestic ROM of MIUI, so the answer is obvious. Stock android with Google services is way ahead of MIUI with Google services.

                                  Xiaomi must consider this difference and focus more on Global ROM than delete such a Poll.
