All I need them to do is stick an amoled panel in, 1080p or 2k, and add wireless charging. Still amazed that more companies don't have it, such a low cost feature, but a god send of a feature. The Sony Premium, Huawei Mate Pro, Pixel 2, and U11 + could have been even more epic with it. I'd favour it over a 4k screen, even take a decent amoled at 1080, if I could get wireless charging.

I'm looking forward to the U12 and any spinoff models that may arrive. Having said that, the U11 lineup suffers because of a lack a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Lastly, this U11 + article was more positive than the first one this site released.

I get 8hrs SOT every time, so still don't understand these battery test. Screen in sunlight is more than usable, auto mode goes very bright, equal to any other phone I own. Very strange results these guys get.

Yep, screens have been one of HTC weak spots since the M9. Hope they'll finally choose a flagship worthy screen for the U12.
Kudos to Gsmarena for keeping their word and retesting the retail unit once available !

                  Less than 300 nits.
                  Too low.

Actually if u11 get the same update, camera should have same output as u11+. But with better battery and fingerprint on the front. 18/9 screen or not, bezels remains.
