        S9 offers much more in other sepcs apart from CPU and GPU which is genuinely same and it will sells for at least 900 eur.
        Having a phone more expensive in this case by 550 eur for having an IP68, curved screen, SD card slot, Jack and slightly better camera and much worse battery thanks no.

        For me a Mi7 with 256 GB space is more than enough with a waterproof case, with a bluetooth earphones if i will need ones, LCD display which is far more cheaper than Amoled especialy a curved screen which cost another 100 bucks from your wallet.
        So 350 eur is a real deal. You can say whathewer you want but in this case you just cannot win no matter how you will try.
        If a customer sees both phones in shop and its pricetags and list of parameters with same CPU and GPU and half better battery in milliamps. I guarantee you 90% of people will go for 350 eur Mi7.
        Same goes for Sony XZ2 premium compared to this or any other flagship from any other brand.
        All thats wins here its price. Rest are stupid gadgets which almost noone needs or can stuick around without having them.

          It offers all necessary to have the GREATEST HIT of 2018.
          Rest are as i usualy saying stupid add-ons which makes your phone a lot more expensive thats why Mi7 have no SD Slot, Have no Jack, No curved screen, No Iris scanner only a finger print sensor, No Amoled LCD is great enough, No IP67 or 68 splash resistant is more than enough (for the rest i assume waterproof cover for just 5 from Alliexpress). And i can continue forewer.

          Well if they took of back lid and make the phone plastic instead of alluminium body they can save another 50-80 eur but then we will loose that premium feeling and thats should be really bad.
          So they releasing it with all thats necessary, And thumbs up for Xiaomi.

Sony uses color spectrum RGBC-IR sensor to reproduce true colors. Phones like xperias also use stacked sensor which is new and better technology than one most of full sized cameras use. Also by using multiple lens or stacking you can eliminate noise and possibly even increase resolution. As contrary to physics of old cameras, such processing can create ideally even better results in most cases(non extreme low light,...). However if sony do not fully make use of stacking(as in pixel,..), using more cameras(as in huawei,..) and better processing(as in almost every other phone), its quite shame because it got best hardware. Thats some reason why to complain, not?

They are far away from dedicated cameras and they will never match the quality cause physics. Instead they will heavily rely on software to try to perfect the pixel prediction and overcome the small sensor shortcomings. Reason why all the landscape photos made on iPhone look the same no matter if you shot them in New Zeeland, Zanzibar or Montana. Post processing is ultra aggressive and it goes something like this: it recognizes blue on top and green at bottom it must be a landscape so lets make those blue cyan and make that grass golden green and vignette the hell out of it.

Also although its way better, its way more visible than from other brands, its totally unnatural noise, unlike one you could see in raw shots. Also even most pricy dslr not always use f1 for shooting, on contrary they mostly use smaller aperture so more of object is in focus. Sony could take brighter shots with smaller aperture, why to change it... Its the same as instead of bringing new sensor tech, they would use just bigger sensor or aperture, thats what I like about sony.
