14 February 2018
It only got started less than a week ago, and only managed to reach a few markets.

Delayed for some months till you update to S9/S9+ or Note 9 and then magically issues are solved and the firmware is able to download.

AnonD-696542, 15 Feb 2018I bought the S8 on first day of launch, it's almost an year... moreTotally same. I feel its going to be my last phone. Goodish cam great battery life not counting wheb using 4g lol. Its pretty decent

AnonD-696542, 15 Feb 2018I bought the S8 on first day of launch, it's almost an year... moreTotaly agree with you. Also have the phone since the realy first day and it runs super fast and smooth still. Few days ago one of my friend bought a brend new s8+ and I couldn't tell the difference between the two phones when I tried out his one. It still has the out-of-box condition. I'm 100% setisfied and waiting is absolutely ok.

The most underrated flagship (10 & U11) because majority of dumbmasses not knowing its worth.
These HTC flagships are buttery smooth, no lags, great build, great audio, great cam (rear & front), and decent battery life on 10 (stellar for U11).

After Oreo my HTC10 is much more featured pack with new functionality and beautiful sense UI coupled with Oreo... Can't asked for more!

I bought the S8 on first day of launch, it's almost an year and it still performs like how it was out of the box. Never used any case or screen protector but it still has no scratches and it's as shiny as it was when I opened it( obviously after wiping the fingerprint marks). Samsung has proved that it has the most consistent performance and highest durable body in a flagship. I checked oreo page and there's no feature it doesn't have already so I'm really not waiting for it. I'd be excited only for the new Note 8 features they'll be adding. As they say, there's an update and there's a samsung update which isn't merely change of version number. So waiting is OK

Now this really sucks. This is really really bad move. Now around 70% of the owners who didn't get the S8 are going like: "WTF Samsung? Others have it but not me, why did you stop"? And some as they stated here "I will never buy Samsung again"... I personally don't mind the OS updates, but they should respect and know the fact that it matters greatly to some people. If they skip the Oreo and go straight for the P - that's OK, but ONLY if ALL users will get it in first 2-3 weeks after it's release, and so far I see that they won't be able to do that. After waiting for update that long it should work flawlessly - and now they stopped completley and I'm like WTF?

lost all hope in samsung long ago. probably better if they don't update anything so that i can wait a little longer on the S8 before i eject to another brand.

Waiting months longer than most other manufacturers AND then it get pulled down is just taking the P*ss. I'm glad I sold my S7 Edge. Happily enjoying my HTC 10 with an amazing DAC, accurate colours, clean (none cartoon) UI, zero bloat, zero lag and amazing build quality. HTC is by far a more respected company than Samsung and Apple combined :)
