By camera performance wise my year old s7 is more capable and I don't prefer to upgrade it soon. S8 camera is more identical only with slight improvement. If s9 is really like what they say then it will be good and much more I like to go with.

Today it´s all about marketing. With S8 they told the same and I pre-ordered it. It was a huge disappointment. The camera had nearly the same weaknesses than S7 and wasn´t really an improvement. Too strange that many professional testers have been blind or s.th. else. Hopefully this time they will take many photos with S9, look at it on a big screen and report about picture quality honestly.

they said that last year as well, when the camera was the same as the s7, so must we keep imagining it's better camera when it's two yr old tech, with minor software improvements. Imagine that!

Wouldn't be that surprising to see major improvements in the camera considering that the S8 camera was pretty much identical with S7.

libertine007, 15 Feb 2018i wonder if you can take pictures of the future?probably ye. And once you edit and save the picture the phone's screen turnes itself into a tiny blackhole dragging you inside the world of the picture you edited seconds ago.
Since samsung is always teasing the number 9, that tiny backhole will tremble the world. Earthquakes of Richter's magnitude scale of 9 will be everywhere ending this world of ours and only you will be saved.

Waiting so eagerly to see how S9 and S9+ camera stacks up this time. Would be great to see Samsung going against Xiaomi, Sony, HTC (if they are going for a new flagship), Nokia, LG and OnePlus.

i wonder if you can take pictures of the future?
