Here's why Samsung stopped the Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and S8+

i upgraded my s8+ to oreo 8.0 about 3 weeks ago.... that's when all went to *&%$
now not a single samsung app works while all other app's work fine. app loading is very slow and biometrics don't work and that's the good new. 3 factory resets and 18 hour spent on the phone with verizon and all i get is "lets rest it again."
basically the only thing better than samsung's oreo software is sitting on an exploding samsung note 7 while butt naked while basking in the overwhelming warmth of samsung's legendary quality control.

Only Galaxy S8 and S8+ users are affected the Oreo but don't worry it will resume the update by on April but Galaxy Note8 would get it first

Samsung found they provided oero much before the announcement of Android P. So they stopped providing the update.
According to samsung fans – samsung software is ahead of android version. May be Samsung should provided Bada OS in stead of Android. Then they can do these beta , alpha gamma release once in a leap year. Because Android is not optimised for Samsung, Samsung lags with a Single app – so multi window is a luxury.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2018are you idiot ?? still support samsung ? You know most expe... moremy note 8 (exynos version) works very smooth, no issue, it is depending on HOW you use the phone, what kind of apps that installed into your phone. some apps doesnt work properly due to developer having problem stabilizing its apps' software. (even my S7 which is almost 2 years still works super fine even im a heavy user which i play games a lot)

Samsung is the most pathetic company I ever seen. they make beta software without knowing why apple do that with iOS.
Ask you samsung to make os of their own , like Bada OS and play with these software release. then only people like you(highly idiot and nonsense) will understand how poor is samsung.

hei. I seems to be luckey. I am using the orio since last tuesday morning.
and guys absolutely no issue. battery back up is exactly same except browsing consuming lesser battery so that better. No rebooting, no unexpected pop up or app opening closure.
Dont know whats all about it.

At least Samsung's updates don't trigger bootloops like Google's did in the good ol' Nexus line.
