The other 3/10 will be soo bad that they become the talk of the town. They never hit the middle. I owned their OneX.. it is soo good that it still works like day 1(I upgraded the battery recently), then I moved to OneM9, although I missed the fingerprint scanner (which they hastily included in M9+), their dual front speakers and camera is golden. Both the phones have superior body (premium) and awesome rear camera. I love their sense UI. Super frustrating their U11+ is not available in the states(I enjoyed their latest phone when back in India) Too bad the company might sell out completely to google.

That 4G LTE Icon is the exact same one that Verizon uses, looks like it might possibly be available on them.

Our HTC One A9 still cracks a whip, zippy. fast durable beautiful as the day we got them. Extremely happy. The body is one of the best classiest metal bodies and smooth. No reason to update yet. they did a class job on this unit

These guys will never learn. lol

And my Motorola got Nougat update while his HTC stuck at Marshmallow and performance is lowered. Because mine is powered by Snapdragon.

HTC so stingy, releasing same old outdated stuff with useless chipsets

I think HTC should stop wasting time and money on lower end phone models and only focus on there flagship. It will be easier to market and easier to manage. I dont think with low end phones htc can compete with Chinese manufacturers. I love htc and I don't want to see them RIP.

Voxter, 20 Feb 2018Probably a >$300 phone of plastic with mediatek and 3G... more300USD???? christ, with that you can get mostly a snapdragon 660.
That's a mediatek with a 720p panel, a 5mp selfie and probably an all plasic build.
That's a low end device which should cost more than 150USD

These guys are in free-fall. C'mon man, HTC have some real great features, such as the camera, but their hardware is dire. Wireless charging and a half decent screen should be basic stuff. 3.5 would be a bonus. But those awful glass backs. Horrendous.

Voxter, 20 Feb 2018Probably a >$300 phone of plastic with mediatek and 3G... moreSpot on.
HTC thinks they're able to sell their devices for ridiculous prices - not anymore.
If you're launching a phone with crappy specs, at least make it cheap - in this specific case, less than $150 cheap to stand any sort of chance against XiaoMi and several others.

The RAM is decent enough, but Mediatek chipset is kinda a bummer. As long as HTC doesn't use the older MTK chips, it probably will be alright. However I think the battery is too small for 2017/2018 standard, it should have been 3000 mAh. Not sure about this phone's future and capability to compete in the tight market.

I think it's funny they decided to place as much RAM as possible instead of saving some cash to put a decent Snapdragon processor inside this device.
