First, normally nobody goes around leaving their $ 1000 phone in someone else's hands. And second, what reaction or what stories, if someone throws my $ 1000 phone to the ground and then offers me a clone of Oppo it would take me less than two seconds to play soccer with his head.
What ignorant someone must be to believe such a bad montage.

Oneplus has to learn some maturity. Oneplus is merely an assembler of outsourced components, they kept alive mainly because of stock android experience.. Whereas Samsung, LG or Apple (not a iphone fan though) has much better R&D in their respective departments too.
Samsung is one stop sources for almost all internal components, LG is way forward in Display tech and Camera section. Apple is already the fastest mobile chip on earth even with 2017's iteration of Bionic.

Risky ad, but truth is, the sorts of people who buy an iPhone in particular will not have even heard of OnePlus. As per Google's failed attempt to sell the Pixel to youth (despite it's great spec), Apple and Samsung 'own' the street. Speed is very important, but OnePlus will need to offer something totally radical to sway the sheep. Hard when unlike Samsung, you don't make your own tech, like say a bendable display or Face Unlock like security.
