Just do what I did and get a iPhone 8 plus. I've had Samsung ever since the note 2 and now the s7 edge but I've had enough of slow updates, the s7 could use Oreo for better battery performance and system wide maintenance. My wife's 6 plus still gets updates and the battery last all day, no slow downs and she had it for 4 years but now I got her the 8 plus and T-Mobile gave me one for free so I'll keep my s7 for work but I won't by another Samsung if I do go back to android, it will be a pixel, but it looks like I'm holding on the this iPhone for a few years.

I already have Oreo 8.1 on my phone. Will the S8 have that ermmm no I think not. Come on Samsung do keep up

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2018And happy with outdated os version. Premium phone should ge... moretell that to OEMs. I do agree with you that premium flagships should be treated as pixels and nexuses with max delay of 1 week. (Atleast that is what I allow if I were the goddess of technology in this world) and SIMULTANEOUSLY. (I have to admit. I envy crapple's omni-send feature. that ALL REGIONS get the update AT ONCE. and not country X first, then Y then Z, etc.)

I'm really dissapointed in Samsung. Updates are so slow. Bet you my US version S8 will see Oreo in late march or even in May.

Still no oreo ffs. I dont even know whars new in oreo. And why is this hype so big but i want it

You know don't care if all samsung phones have oreo update it's all about the performance of the phone not the versions itself.

People who arr praising Samsung for not giving oreo update for them
Android os is not made by Samsung, its by Google. Newer version means lots of improvement- i have see andeoid 7 s8 and androir 8 s8. Saw the improvement from your favourite brand.
Samaung makes a skin on top of android. And most of the time by bringing new feature in tweaking they srew the smoothness. I bought note 8 because of android , not b3cause of Samsung. But how the hell one company takes 6 months to make skin ?? Unless they are proven idiots. In 6 month avarage company will make a whole os ..
