Anonymous, 24 Feb 2018Oreo is a bad update anyway. It's a good thing it's not out...It always depends.
Sony released Oreo for the XZ Premium and I could hear little to no problems with the software.
If anything, its speakers and headphone jack got louder, camera got some improvements, performance and battery life were improved, and added some new features.

Did anyone knows why is samsung updating the s8 with oreo before the note8 I always thought note series was one of the premium devices for Samsung.......

Its basically google playing catch up to samsungs experience 8.0 xD
Youre not losing that much....its a small update for galaxy owners but for other phones 8.0 brings alot of new stuff

I have been on the Beta program from day one. My phone is noticeably faster and more fluid and battery life is improved. They both strike me as fairly significant improvements don't know about you.

That is marvelous news. I am not mad about the delay. I've been working once at samsung. (as a sales-consultant in their official store) there's quite a LOT of stuff happening there.

1: New name from a cookie
2: New version number
3: Redesign of one, maybe two, things in the device.
4: New software version number and name
5: Free pizza
If anything this is a significant update only for devices on UX8.0, not 8.1 and 8.5 like S8 and Note 8
If you bought the Note only because of the things it has yet to get, then sorry but you do not know how to buy phones. So you bought it for it's current Nougat form, which is awesome and does not miss out on anything important or meaningful from Oreo

Oh well! So much for beta testers getting it first. Have been on UK program from the very first day and after being promised we would get it first we are watching countries that didn't even get the beta get it before us and still nothing here.

Give first preference to samsung galaxy note 8 the latest device for Oreo update. And then move to other samsung mobile. Wake up samsung.
