Implementation 1: Cam1 - Standard field/angle. Cam 1 Wide angle - LG G5 for example has this implementation
Implementation 2: Cam1 - colour sensor Cam2 - monochrome sensor. Capture detail in low light at LOWER cost of sensor dev compared to the one on google.
As sensors and lens configuration evolve, we will see trend back to single camera setup. S9 for example has reportedly implemented variable aperture.

Samsung camera 1 lens can have Dual Apertue, Dual Pixel, as an example.

Interesting device, cant wait to see what 3 cameras brings to the Huawei line up.
Their Mate 10 Pro is one of the best cameras available.
