Huawei confirms P20 name with a short video
MWC 2018 is all about new phones, gadgets and technology and all the big names are there, including Huawei. Sadly, the Chinese manufacturer will not introduce a flagship since it already announced a launch date on March 27. The company sent out a promo video for the event, effectively confirming the Huawei P20 name.
The brief seven-second video once again suggested a three-camera setup with three circles and the extra letters in the word “mooore”. This information, however, clashes with latest TENAA listing that revealed a dual-cam setup, positioned vertically.
Is Huawei going to launch a phone with three cameras or this is some marketing trick for a software update, we are yet to see next month.
The Huawei P20 will most likely have a Kirin 970 AI chipset by HiSilicon and will run the Android Oreo with EMUI 8 on top. It is also safe to assume that more than one P20 phone could arrive - we’ve already heard rumored specs for a Plus-sized version and seen alleged live images of a P20 Lite.
