They differed with S... moreI would rather see Nokia go down fighting with WP7 rather than go down without a fight using MeeGo as their main OS. MeeGo got zero marketshare and it have no ecosystem and that's not bound to change anytime soon. Meanwhile, WP's fate is about to take a turn for the better with the Mango update which will bring enough new features to make it a serious contender to Android and iOS.
Q: If MeeGo is as good as fanatics says then how come the other BIG Guns in the cellphone business are not scrambling to put it on their devices?
A: Because they know that it stands no chance and it's DOA.

Come on man, Mango ain't that bad of a fruit at all. But, yeah... I just hope this is one of Nokia's plan to release a Linux device once every X years.

They just need to crap out more devices and much sooner after announcement. MeeGo is the most unique OS out of all and is a real threat to WP7. N9 gathered more buzz in 1h than WP7 did in a year and a half. The advantage of MeeGo is the use of Qt. An app developed for MeeGo only needs one line of code to be change in order to make it work on Symbian or Android for instance. It's efficient on resources and due to ease of porting has a wider market. WP7 is already beating on a dead horse. Sales keep dropping and very soon Mango devices are releasing which will be the same as Nokia devices. Why wait a year in order to get something now? Sales prove that people are not interested. It's only MS intention since ever to destroy Symbian (which killed WinMO) and Linux (MeeGo including). I hope people want be dumb enough to support yet another monopoly plan. I rather have Nokia dead rather than go through hell with MS.

FYI, LG is already developing a MeeGo device. And lots of companies signed and support MeeGo. Read up more before wasting breath.

Nokia could never make a deal with Android. Is it the ego? I believe so and what's with the colour of Nokia phones??!! Very funny and childish. Still Nokia is the no. 1 for certain group of people but an advanced person would never go for it because it is no way near android.

Oh how I wished I could buy another Nokia. But enough of slow, buggy and outdated smartphones. No Qwerty keyboard in portrait mode? Why does Nokia phones have to be region specific? For instance, I want to read Spanish and Chinese in the browser but I can't do it with my Nokia E7, since I bought the E7 from the U.S. Android? No problem.

Besides, the design and detailing is top-notch, just like final product, and it differs from original mockup by Nokia, which means even more that this could be the final design of the product. From design to rendering - it would be too difficult to made this up - if it is, congrats to author. But I don't think so.

Another device what will be forgived in some months after the drop! Nokia and microsoft in plan to save each other in smartphone business, Nokia will be out of this business in 2years I'm sure!
