Its totally rip off Motorola defy which is not a big hit phone but still Samsung would have been better when you put like this specs
1,1ghz processor (Snapdragon)
2,Front cam for video calling
3,divx/xvid support
4, atleast 5mp cam would be better
5,Last is it has Gorilla glass display ?

Nokia should join the fray and sue Samsung and demand HUGE sums of royalties from the copyist.

Maybe this one is really waterproof (IP67). Moto and SE are not! They are just water resistant. Not very useful!

Design of samsung get... moreWell, Samsung have best designed tv devices and household appliances, but definitely have problems with designing phones. Still this one looks interesting. Looking on pictures it looks like it have non metallic edges, more like brown rubber. Reminds of HTC Desire design wave. And buttons looks like closed push buttons, not touch, which is good as well - should work under water.

As for the building of a phone that is more resistant to outside factors, how is that a copy? Start mailing BMW why they use petrol engines like Mercedes and why don't they use their own fuel type?
When this phone comes out, it will be a success or not so much of a success depending on how resistant it is and how good the software is. If eider one of these has flaws people will start looking to other phones like defy since that is a generally good phone and with nice design. As a response to this, Motorola might also release a new phone that is weather proof at some degree. But that will happen at the end of the year or sometime next year i think(if it does).

and here again comes the bashing an trolling,
not for anything samsung mobile is growing so fast with their galaxy brand and their low cost phones, they know what they do every brand in the market tends to copy or at least make similar designs, but what really matters is the guts of the phone and how well it runs its OS
so what if it is a "copy" as must of you say have you ever owned a galaxy s and said its crap i guess not

I would really buy this phone but as you see on hearing the 3.2 mp camera I was shocked but I thought let's see if we can find 720p hd word was there in this article but it wasn't so I have made up my mind that I am going for Sony Ericsson xperia active . As we all know that Sony Ericsson xperia active has 720p hd video recorder and many other cool features . But I am still plannig to wait for samsung galaxy 3d to arrive and have a fight over lg optimus 3d

Nokia (Quality Hardware) vs Samsung (Quality!!! What is that?)
Myself and my friends purchased few of the medium segment Samsung mobile phones, they not even worked properly for more than 3 months.
They don't have any innovative products at all, but the good thing they are very fast in integrating the best components of other better mobile phones and making it a product. But one thing is very sure there is no quality at all in it's product. Even their mid range phones are so slow, the fonts are looking very pathetic no professionalism at all.
Nokia missed the innovation in time and they have not listened the people and their expectation. But they always maintain their quality and innovation. Keep it up and do the innovation in right time. Still Symbian Anna software UI is really good, but need performance tuning. If it done, no need to through symbian after 2016. It is a well proven architecture.

Mobile Phone: LG And Samsung copying themes from iPhone, Copying design from Apple, Motorola, and, SE But witch cheap plastic
This is a poor copy from Motorola defy and everybody know that, I wonder what these company do without west designing? And why people buy garbage from these companies

i think it looks good and yes they have similarities to the comp but im looking at it as they have taken all the goodies we like in other phones and put it all together in this beauty.
great job.
