Sony is finished. Sony probably spent tons of research on their 3 stack sensor, but samsung has copied, and mass produced it in mere months. Samsung can make their sensor waay cheaper, because they also make the DRAM themselves, which means the sensors can be made in one production cycle. Meanwhile, sony has to have their DRAM shipped from Micron. Samsung has stated that they will sell their new isocell sensors to china, and has stopped buying sony sensors. Sony can do nothing but watch as Samsung's next sensor surpasses Sony's capabilities.

And please give me some reason why Samsung want to copy IMX300 and 400.

This sensor needs deeper pixels like the iPhone X and 8 sensors. Until then, it cannot compete with Apple's smartphones.

Copycat... Nothing new on Samsung s9... Guys Sony has now 1080p full hd super slow motion.. And Sony Xperia XZ2 premium is announce very soon... It has dual camera and highest iso for low light.. Even black night... Its beat samsung 1.5 aperture.. Hahahhaha. Lol for Samsung s9... Sony is real world king of technology

This thing is a big feature of Sony, but Samsung relentlessly "Ctrl C + Ctrl V" it on their own, with some minor tweaks to not look or sound too obvious that they did it.
The sad part here is that the feature from Sony is only getting the right recognition after Samsung has done it. Worst thing that could possibly be is when people would believe that it was Sony who copied Samsung for this 960fps Slow Motion thing.
