They should just put M batwings on the front instead of the word Motorola. They look so much better/classier/desirable and special.
I guess the long term plan is to phase out Motorola as a brand altogether seeing as they make it very clear everywhere Lenovo is the owner.
Still, probably the best bang-for-buck phones on the market.

I really doubt the writing "Motorola" would ever appear. Never been used name since Lenovo bought them. "Moto" is been used and only as a name, not as a brand.

Xiaomi etc just copy paste so no research bill and copy old tech

IF all the aforementioned specs are true this will be a killer budget phone sleek original design with uptodate spec sheet this will blow Xiaomi phones out of the water Xiaomi has just been dragging its design for 3-4 years now with no sign of change just an Apple Copycat.

Good design(at least I like it), but that HD resolution is going to ruin it, and there coulkd be other factors as well.

Rest in Peace, Moto E series. You had a dream of ending the feature phone, which would've happened if it weren't for Nokia. Fortunately, your goal of putting a fast smartphone with essential features in the hands of people everywhere has been fulfilled. While your previous devices are still available second hand and continue to be used every day, your brand will now be retired, just like the Moto X. Maybe one day, you will come back with true budget hardware, but until then, I guess the Moto C is the real budget phone today from Lenovo.

What I do wish back was their good habit of quickly upgrading even their basic phones to the latest Android. My good old Moto G 2013, of blessed memory, was upgraded ultra quickly - there was an upgrade, from 4.3 to 4.4 IIRC, that was quicker than the Nexus 4...
