There are some design that are ok to copy and there are some that are not. This I phone screen Design is not one of them. It makes the phone not equalibium. Am not a Samsung fan but the little space at the top and bottom is a better idea.
Chinese manufacturers like Vivo are doing a better screen design job.
So why oh why are all other manufacturers copying a bad design.

This will be a nightmare for both users and devs. When IPX is announced with a notch design, it took quite some time for all the apps to get updated with notch support. On the vast big sea of Android phones, I doubt devs will update their apps just for the sake of Asus. Good luck to the buyers of this phone.

The notch is a great away to avoid having a bezel on top, if they are to add it anyway, it's silly to even have it anyway, ot defeats the purpose.
Btw what's up with the chin? The point of the notch s to avoid having to deal with bezels as a whole. It's incredibly silly is what it is...

I have nothing against Asus (and in fact use a few of their various devices) but when a company takes an ugly, crappy design and boast about it being "26% less ugly" than its competition, someone should seriously fire that guy on stage.

I am loosing interest in mobile industry due to this madness of design and useless features. I cannot understand the benefits of full screen because all mobiles have grown in height width and also have more weight... Most have even removed 3.5mm headphone jack...
If these trend continues I think gsmarena should shift their focus on something else..
