Congrats Asus, you take a dig at Apple at your event, yet you blatantly copy almost everything about their phone. Your high end 2018 flagship looks like a replica of the 2017 flagship of the “fruit phone X”. Congrats once again on getting the copy spot-on.

say no to notches. Don't buy any phones with notches. It will just encourage these manufacturers from making horrible design choices.

Asus has only a small % of the phones sales, why?. In my corner of the world, they seem to have 0 promotion effort, 0 publicity, no association with local carriers, no presence in retail, EVEN when they're built in a adjacent country (Brazil). I don't hear also good things about their customer service, updates, or custom interface.

The reason the iPhone X has a notch is because th... moreBut it's has Thin Side bezel and the reason why ASUS put wide notch is due STEREO SPEAKER that is not avaible in Mi Mix 2. Atleast there is Headphone jack,19:9 (notch will not distorting video viewing unlike iPhone X) and great price.
Yeah, at beginning I'm really dissapointed but I believe there is something good. :)

Although I'm a fan of Asus, what they said is quite frankly, dumb. Calling another company not by their real name but mocking it but yet still copies it's design both front and back.

Basic image recognition doesn't need AI, as much as your cybershot from years ago can recognize faces

this looks better that the rumored oneplus 6 notch that is off centered, pixel 3 will have a notch and android users will now embrace the notch :p

So dumb.
The reason the iPhone X has a notch is because there's no other room for the front facing camera with Apple going bezelless.
This thing still has bezel on the bottom. So all they could've done was to shift the screen lower, and they could probably get away without a notch (just like Galaxy S8), and the phone would look much cleaner. But no, they have to copy a freaking notch while leaving bezel on. So dumb.

if you want to sell your product, focus on what yours can do instead of bringing others into the picture.
plus, when you sell as many units as Apple before you get so cocky (if ever)!
BTW, what's with the THICK bottom bezel? just so you know it looks cheap.

The zenfone 5 with a lower processor but same design is a big mistake.. I mean those two look 100% same though one is cheaper
