Rokka, 04 Mar 2018Victor, if a smartphone with qwerty keyboard come out these... moreWell, it all depends on whether or not it meets my other needs. I was actually seriously considering the Blackberry Priv at one point, but the sd810 is just terrible, plus support was questionable. I also looked into the Moto Z2 Force with a sliding keyboard mod, but that one has a insufficiently small panel for my needs. So, probably yes, if the right one comes along.

Love to read these personal experiencences with your phones. You guys share so much. Please try to publish more personal experiences' like this one. Thank you.

Victor, if a smartphone with qwerty keyboard come out these days, would you buy it?

Trump Fan 1980, 04 Mar 2018 Dear Victor: what is a proverbial potato? You mentioned Ea... more In other words, I don't dwell on Eastern Europe's economy. I was engaged to a woman from the Czech Republic before, and I respect women from your region (not to mention globally).

L337, 04 Mar 2018It's always nice to see other people's perspectives on the ... more I agree. I owned a BlackBerry Priv and returned it because its heat generated from the 810 within bothered me while playing video games.

Dear Victor: what is a proverbial potato? You mentioned Eastern Europe. While may firstly think of economic insolvency issues in said portion of the world, I think of good looking women. Everywhere has it's pros and cons. Cheers my friend.

It's always nice to see other people's perspectives on the mobile world, since when I got into tech, Symbian was long gone, and the SD810 was burning people left, right, and center.
When my current phone gets replaced and probably perishes to age, I'm gonna keep it. This thing is as a legend to me as your N97 is to you.

Still have the Mi 3, G3 Beat, Moto E, G5, V20, and iPhone SE. I had some other phones like the BlackBerry Bold 9000, Palm Pixi Plus, and iPhone 5 briefly as well.

I'm just not as interested with phones anymore. They are losing simple features like no headphone jack. Thinking of getting an iPhone 7, Xperia XZ1 Compact, or XA2.

Nothing really wows me anymore. My G5, SE, and V20 will be in my daily driver rotation for quite awhile.

I'm also missing my Note4, it died the same way after 2 years. Really missing the leather back, IR blaster and the flat screen. Stuck with an S7 edge, which is OK... Next phone might not be Samsung after 6+ years.

I love all the In Past Tense stories. This one was very detailed and I would've had fun using the cell phones of the past. It's nice to know the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an excellent handset. I like the S5 and the Note 4. They have great features and beautiful design.

Hi Victor, do you think the hardware QWERTY keyboard has better haptic feedback than on-screen QWERTY keyboard?

My history is richer, N95, K750, Samsung D500, Walkmans and more :p

im 17 so mine is pretty simple
my first phone was galaxy gio that phone couldn't break. I even hit my friends with it at the end i lost it on a trip. After that was my bar mitzva my parents bought me as a present the s3 mini, it was a really amazing phone quick, responsive and with that phone my intrest in custom firmware started. After I broke it somehow I bought s3 from my friend it was on a bad situation but still a phone. Later i moved to the redmi note 3 for like a year it's battery didn't run out it was the first phone i was actually happy with it's battery time. I broke it as I hit a pole with my bicycle searching for pokemons. That time I had to use a spare s2 handdown from my father it's battery was ruined and it couldn't handle 2 hours without charging that time I said to myself that I have to get a flagship phone I worked a lot and got myself (almost alone) the s8 plus and in one word it's an amazing phone.

Hi, I just love when someone mentions Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in their top picks. As of this moment Note 4 is still my favorite phone and i am still rocking it. The battery is still good even after 3.5 years and the screen is still deliciously beautiful. I moved to Oneplus just because i was missing a dual Sim Support and had to carry 2 Phones. Note 4 still always there in my Bag and is still my backup Phone shame Samsung is not updating the phone though it still is a very powerful phone. Peace
