AnonD-391304, 04 Mar 2018Here's my take on it as a hater of stock android. 1) 80% ... moreBy that logic: headphone jacks, bezels, iPhone notch, sd slot, battery, etc are all complaints from online and aren’t the majority.

So, will the existing models of Nubia in India and other global regions get an option to changeover to Stock Android... like OnePlus was allowing to move from Cyanogen to their own one...!
If this option is given for at least models of 2017, then the existing users would be a happy lot and it helps Nubia to maintain their existing too...!

Glad to hear that Nubia is adopting stock Android. They are probably correct in saying it will make receiving updates faster, since my Nubia Z11 Mini has received exactly zero updates.

Here's my take on it as a hater of stock android.
          1) 80% of the people I know never update their phones and don't even know how to clear their caches (my phone has become so slow, I hate brand x).
          2) They have no idea what and how ram works either.
          3) Since the majority of Android phones sold worldwide are Samsung, someone moving from TouchWiz to stock would probably dislike stock because it doesn't have any of the convenient features they're used to.
          4) Those Nubia users giving feedback are regular readers of websites like this and likely techie Android purists. Therefore they'll be the most vocal but by no means the majority.

I own a couple of stock devices including the Nexus 7 2013 and it's a frustrating experience not having the features I'm used to on my Huawei and Xiaomi phones. I used to own a Nubia and there was absolutely nothing wrong with their UI. Stock purists are the Vegans of the android world. I like my steak, bacon and Lobster thank you very much no matter how unhealthy (read as regular updates) they may be.

Sounds like music to my ears...it's about time OEMs start putting stock Android on phones and then offer their updated UI's on the play store for those who need it. Also it makes it easier for them to update to the next/new version of Android.

I think the slightly modified stock skins of Moto and OnePlus are the best. The thing that is most important is fast OS and security updates which takes longer with heavy skins

Was considering Nokia but now ZTE, will see this year's their offerings and seriously consider them for Android one updates.
