Of all things audio? Why beats?! I am not saying it's bad, it's just overpriced. . seriously overpriced, sure it may have good sound quality. . but it's just too ridiculously overprice for the sound it brings. If you want a bang for your back try Koss :) Or better sound quality get a Klipsch s4i, it can kick the DD's studio anytime plus cheaper. . Just don't wanna see an overpriced HTC :L love HTC lol

But does Beats actually do anything? Seriously??? I have Bose headphones which are half the price of Beats and sound much better and I don't look like a tit walking down the street. What on earth could this offer? Are they actaully going to bundle Beats headphones in the box? This is just marketing rubbish.

I'd rather sacrifice sound quality and keep my music on a memory card. The sound difference is negligible with the headphones you get. I don't think anyone uses their smartphone as a music centre.
Buy an ipod touch with a speaker dock for that.

AnonD-672, 13 Aug 2011Iphones hav bad quality sound. they use a virtual amplifier... morei believe what you say, but as i said, i am interested in power output not in frequency range or other oscilloscope measurments that remain simple digits. the final product: the sound impact is more more more impressive on iphone 3,4 than any nokia (except n91) when you connect big headphones or earbuds. just try, the sound test will show.at iphone 4 put the eq - off and volume limit - off.

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2011i don't care how much fidelity they have if they are weak, ... moreIphones hav bad quality sound. they use a virtual amplifier. its sound range is cut of at 33hz if I'm not mistaken. nokia has one of the best sound outputs out of all mobile phones.. I used to own a n97 and I could run a sound range test run all the way down to 4hz and up to somewhere around to 192khz

Beats? I don't think so. My Shure SE530 earphones are the real high-quality audiophile earphones.
Beats are more eye-candy than serious audiophile headphones/earphones. They suck big time!

AnonD-1124, 13 Aug 2011Keep dreaming. The iphone 4 no doubt best reproduces the or... morei don't care how much fidelity they have if they are weak, with low output power. maybe they are good for an external amplifier, but if you connect a pair of big headphones like sony xb-700, they can't drive them. iphone 4 and iphone 3 could drive any big headphones. your beloved nokia xpress music have around 2x10 or 2x12 mw output power. iphone4 have 2x32 mw output power. this make a big difference if you listen on big earbuds with 14 or 16 mm speaker diameter or even on monster dj heaphones. we have ears not oscilloscopes
